FFB signs link up with Northumberland FA

Northumberland FA has signed a three-year partnership agreement with energy solutions specialist Fusion for Business.

Led by a team of experts with a wealth of experience in business consultancy and utility procurement, Fusion for Business are committed to helping businesses and local sports clubs save on today’s, tomorrow’s and even yesterday’s energy costs.

As a result of the partnership, grassroots clubs will be able to benefit from significant savings across their utility bills, as well as receiving advice on ways to become more energy efficient through initiatives such as improved LED lighting. What’s more, through FFB’s unique Community Ambassador Programme, clubs will be provided with the tools they need to develop new, sustainable income streams to combat the financial shortfalls in the wake of COVID-19 and secure the required funding to boost the overall longevity of their club.

In addition, one of Northumberland FA’s County Cups will be renamed the Fusion for Business Sunday Minor Cup under link-up.

NFA’s Executive Officer, Andrew Rose-Cook, comments:

“Fusion for Business’s support of grassroots football comes at a time when clubs are struggling to recover from Covid’s devastating impact on their finances.

“FFB have FCA accreditation and support backing from Governmental body BEIS, so we feel confident in recommending FFB to our clubs for their energy needs.

“FFB share our vision for wanting to grow grassroots football and continuing to deliver the benefits it brings to our local communities. We look forward to seeing where this partnership will go.”

FFB’s Head of Community Ambassadors Graham Robson added:

“We are equally committed to supporting grassroots football, so partnering with Northumberland FA was a no brainer. As a business, we are here to change perceptions of the energy market, championing an honest and innovative approach to energy management. All cost savings that we identify for football clubs are backed by an insurance guarantee to ensure that 100% of the forecasted cost savings are achieved. However, for us, this partnership is about more than just helping clubs save money. Our priority is to bring communities together by creating new opportunities and long-lasting benefits that delivers a more sustainable future for all.”
