INTRODUCTION - THIS MONTH'S ACHIEVEMENTS

It’s hard to believe that it’s May already!!! Time really flies when you’re having fun, and we’ve certainly been having a great time here at FFB HQ. We’ve welcomed new team members, celebrated birthdays, and exceeded our targets. During the month of April, we provided Energy Procurement assistance to 79 businesses, aided 64 businesses in decreasing their carbon footprint, and achieved approximately a 24% reduction in businesses’ energy contracts! Our aim for May is to expand our outreach and refine our support services to better serve our clients.

Social Value Initiatives

Last month, Phillipa’s one of our energy sales consultants transcended beyond the realm of her work at Fusion for Business, as she took on the challenge of making a positive impact in her local community. She spearheaded a remarkable initiative – a free packed lunch program that aimed to assist those who were struggling with the cost of living crisis. This initiative was fully funded by Fusion for Business and was hosted at the Eden Miners Centre, a central location where individuals from the local community could easily access this generous offer. The initiative allowed those who were struggling to pick up a complimentary packed lunch.

Community Partnerships

This past weekend we supported the Northumberland FA football match for the Sunday Minor Cup Champions match. On Sunday the 30th of April, Horton Three Horseshoes FC and Riding Hill Football Club competed fiercely for the trophy and the Sunday Minor Cup championship title. It was Riding Mill Football Club that emerged as the winners, thanks to their impressive teamwork and talent.

Meet the Team - Harrison!

“Hi, my name is Harrison Simpson, the renewals manager for Fusion For Business. My role within the business is to help our ongoing customers with their renewal contracts making sure that we hit the high standards we follow and originally set out whilst initially speaking with the customer. It’s also a great opportunity for me to see how happy our current customers are with the service they have received throughout the years of being with Fusion for Business. At the point of renewal, we can also help our customers with some of the other’s services we provide as being one of Fusions for business’s customers, for example water quotations, Our yesterday referral service and helping customers reduce their consumption to keep their business costs as low as possible.

Currently in the role I have managed to help a large potion, or our portfolio secure their renewal contracts whether It be from going back to the same supplier or switching them to another supplier depending on price. We have also managed to help 40% of our customers on water quotations making a saving of up to 10% on average. Although this is small in the current climate of all things utilities this can save a business moving forward.

All and all the renewals channel is doing well and we have already contacted 80% of our current customers for a year in advance making sure we secure the customers the best rates and also giving our customers the best opportunity to renew to avoid upcoming price increases.”
