We’re back with another Fusion Round Up! We can all agree that August has been another hot month and we’ve certainly felt it at FFB HQ! But that hasn’t stopped us from growing! So this month we want to introduce you all to the Head of our Community and Business Ambassador Programme, Maisie!

We also share some of the latest insights from our Community Ambassador Programme, including how much money the team have saved local sports clubs this month on mis-lead contracts, as well as an update on the energy crisis.

Meet the Team - Maisie!

Hey everyone! I love getting to know all about our community and business ambassadors so thought you might like the chance to get to know me! Check out the below to find out more about me and my work at Fusion for Business.

I’ve been at FFB for around 6 months now.

I’m the head of the community and business ambassador programme. A lot of my time is spent visiting sport clubs and business partners who are ambassadors or looking to join the programme. I look to help them with their own energy needs initially and then also work with their referrals to help others and ultimately generate a new recurring income stream for them.

Meeting a range of sports clubs across the country, identifying problems they have and seeing the rewards when we can help save them money and bring in additional money for them to reinvest back into the club. I’ve always been involved in sport, and I know the funding struggles sports clubs face, seeing the benefit we can have on the club is always rewarding.

Now let’s dig a little deeper…

Hm, there’s a never-ending list… anywhere with a nice beach and hot weather. Greece is my all-time favourite, but Bali and Australia are also high on the list.

My free time is usually spent down at the beach, socialising with my friends or visiting my family down in Manchester.

Hopefully continuing to progress at FFB, having expanded the community ambassador team across the UK. That would be the dream.

Matty leaving rubbish on my desk after lunch… he’s such a wind up merchant.

Thanks for getting to know me!

Maisie! 🙂

Energy Market Update - The Energy Crisis Continues

As your trusted energy providers, we want to give you full transparency and keep you in the loop with any market changes that may affect you as we receive them. Here are your latest updates.

The current market conditions have remained unchanged and if anything, are continuing to increase.  This month we have had the biggest increase in day ahead prices ever recorded. Going into September, we remain focused on supporting our existing customers to navigate through such difficult conditions. With prices as shown above still forecasting to increase over the next 2 years – we will get in touch with you over the next few weeks to discuss your options with regard to contract extensions and energy reduction options.

Here at FFB, we are working around the clock to support as many of our customers as we possibly can. If you are in need of an urgent enquiry or just want to understand the crisis in more depth, then we are just a phone call away and would be more than happy to assist further.

Community Ambassador Programme News and Updates

In the last month we have proudly signed up 12 new sports clubs throughout the North East to our Community Ambassador Programme. This is an amazing achievement to see the CAP continuing the grow. One of our highlights has been Shildon Association Football Club who signed up as a CAP and have immediately saved £470 every year on their gas prices – talk about a real score!

We’re also continuing to grow our strong partnership with the Northumberland FA, and proud sponsors of the Sunday Minor Cup for the upcoming season.

We are continually working hard to bring communities across the region together and bring them new opportunities that have long-lasting benefits!

Pwllheli Boxing Club - Case Study

The Challenge:

Pwllheli Boxing Club were aware they had been overpaying on their energy contracts and did not feel confident in the energy contracts that were previously put in place. So they came to us!

The Solution:

Following a consultation, we used our YESTERDAY solution and helped the club get a claim of £1000 back after they had been mis-sold an energy contract. We have then gone on to save the club £11,300 over the course of their contract compared to what they were paying – what a fantastic achievement!

Pwllheli Boxing Club are now proactively referring other businesses who are connected with the club through our Community Ambassador Programme to generate an additional recurring income stream to reinvest back into the club.
