Welcome to our latest newsletter. It’s been another challenging month for the energy sector, with many brokers in the North East region (and beyond) sadly closing their doors. But thankfully it’s not all doom and gloom as we’ve been in the fortunate position to be able to offer both employees who have recently been made redundant in the sector an interview as well as taking on new clients to support those currently at a loss and in search of a new provider. So, what else has been going on? Take a look below…

This Month’s Achievements

  • We have helped over 1000 businesses navigate through the current energy crisis. It’s fair to say the crisis isn’t going away but knowing we can alleviate some of the concern and worry has been of great comfort to many businesses throughout the UK.
  • We have had a record-breaking number of referral business from our existing customers so THANK YOU. As a valued customer we are delighted to hear that you would recommend us.

Guaranteed Interviews at FFB

As we mentioned earlier, many consultancies are now set to close their doors as a result of the current energy crisis and cost of living demands. Whilst they are largely our competitors, we never want to see businesses close down or people’s lives become impacted so we are truly sorry to learn of this news and our hearts go out to everyone affected by this. It’s been an extremely tough year for the energy sector and this is such terrible news for families who may be affected so close to Christmas.

With the expansion of our North East HQ and new Manchester office, FFB are in a unique and fortunate position where we continue to grow as we support more UK businesses than ever before with their energy savings. For anyone who has lost their job due to the energy crisis we would like to extend our offering of a guaranteed interview with us for anyone who has been impacted. We will do everything we can to support you from varying salaries depending on your personal experience.

The New ADR Scheme

As of the 1st of December, the new ADR Scheme is now enforced! Introduced by OFGEM, the ADR scheme ensures brokers now display full transparency to their customers through the disclosure of commissions to ensure they are protected. We have been big advocates of this new regulation for some time as it aligns completely with our core values and we’re proud to be one of the first to sign up!!

A Growing Ambassador Family

We’re pleased to announce that we have signed two new football clubs to our Community Ambassador Programme this month. We’re welcoming Newcastle Benfield FC and Tooting & Mitcham FC to the programme.
