INTRODUCTION

Welcome to our latest newsletter. October was an interesting month to say the least. With Lizz Truss resigning as the shortest serving Prime Minister with the quickest U-turns ever executed by a new government, and now Rishi in the hot seat, there’s no predicting where November will take us.

Amidst all the craziness and uncertainty, here at FFB we have some very exciting news of where November will be taking us. To the North West!! During the cost of living and energy crisis, we’ve found ourselves in the fortunate position of being able to support more businesses than ever before. Our mission is to offer energy savings and a helping hand to as many businesses as we can up and down the country so we are delighted to announce that we will be expanding our operations to Manchester with the opening a new office for 2023. And with it, the creation of 100 new jobs! (Check out our press release further down!)

So, stick around and stay tuned over the coming weeks as we share updates on our expansion journey. Until then, why not check out what else this round-up has in store, with even more savings solutions that you could benefit from….

YESTERDAY SOLUTION - REVENUE RECOVERY

Have you used another broker before your journey with FFB? We understand everyone has a past….

As a valued Fusion for Business customer, we want to give you the opportunity to complete a free account audit in order to unlock hidden commissions to your business. Meaning, you could be owed from £500 up to 100k in these damages!

If you have used another broker in the last 12 months and have now transited to FFB, we want to help support you by obtaining miss sold commissions under your business or help file a case for miss representation.

The commercial energy market is currently unregulated. Therefore, meaning that TPIs (brokers) aren’t audited on compliance or have market entry requirements. Here at FFB, our values are based around us being open, honest and fully transparent with our customers. Some other brokers do share the same morals as us, but others aren’t.

It has been estimated that miss sold commercial energy contracts in the claims market are up to £4billion! With energy prices rising and becoming this high, it’s the perfect opportunity to offset these substantial rises by working with us. With our trusted partners, we are able to offer a no win, no fees claims for our customers which is the perfect chance to stop your energy prices rising even more.

If you’d like us to take a look into your old energy contracts. Please email your old brokers signed LOA and energy contract and we will work our magic to unlock these possible misleading charges and get you back the money you are owed.

government relief scheme

On the 21st September 2022, the Government announced the plans for the new Business Energy Bill Relief Scheme, which was released to support businesses with rising energy costs.

The scheme will operate by fixing the electricity and gas wholesale rate at significantly below its current price. The Relief Scheme shows the discount that will be applied to your bill based on the wholesale price of your energy at the time of purchase. This reduction is only applied to the wholesale, or ‘commodity’ element and is not the price that you as a business consumer will pay.

Instead, it is expected that this reduction will be passed on to you when you are presented with a fully loaded (commodity and non-commodity) tariff from our team, so it will still pay for us to go to market on your behalf.

Suppliers will still be competing for your business, only this time the costs will be lower for the first 6 months. Getting visibility of these new market rates is essential to getting the right contract for you.

We know the energy market is a minefield at the moment and you may receive phone calls from suppliers and energy brokers trying to sign you into a contract. We would like to remind you that if you have a contract agreed through Fusion for Business, this has now been locked in and in line with your chosen supplier’s Terms & Conditions.

It is imperative that you do not agree to a duplicate contract with anyone else between now and your contract going live as this could also result in extra costs.

If you have any queries surrounding your contract, please do not hesitate to contact Emily at: emily.weightman@fusionforbusiness.co.uk or 01207 258 262 who will be happy to help you.

MORE OFFICES. MORE JOBS. MORE SUPPORT.

“A North East consultancy that provides energy solutions tailored to UK businesses is planning to expand its operations in the north of England to meet demand for its services.

County Durham-based Fusion for Business (FFB) is creating 120 new jobs, including 100 in their new 4,000 square foot office on Exchange Quay in Salford Quays, Manchester.

Despite the crisis affecting households, businesses are also feeling the pressure and are just as concerned about the sustainability of their existing energy supplier, broker/consultant, but also about significantly higher energy prices than before.”
