THE CHALLENGE

Consett AFC are passionate about being more energy efficient but they needed a trusted partner to help them achieve their Net Zero commitments.

The FFB Community Ambassador Programme is committed to helping sports clubs become more carbon savings. The CAP also equips clubs with energy efficient through a range of cost and revenue stream – boosting the longevity of everything they need to create a new recurring grassroots sports for our next generations and beyond.

THE SOLUTION & RESULTS

Following a consultation, we were able to identify significant savings through our TOMORROW solution. By upgrading the pitch and carpark lights to LED lighting, we have identified £57,000 worth of savings.

The cost of the project is £39,000, leaving a net saving for the club of £18,000 across 5 years.

Consett AFC have also earned money to invest back into the club through the CAP and we sponsored the club for £1000.
